This passion started in 1997 with the introduction of the first MB Quart Q-Line component system and is continued today with the GermanMAESTRO's all-new M Nano-Series featuring -Technology. Lightweight construction as one of the most aspired aims in the automotive industry to improve the efficiency has been consequently realized with this High-End speaker system.
As an advancement of the MB Quart Spherical Technology, is based on a new inverted titanium dome with a geometrical shape created by intensive computer simulations. Produced in a sophisticated multi-step production procedure from high complexity this inverted pure titanium dome is refined with an extra nano-ceramic coating. Driven by a very high power neodym magnet system, we think there is currently nothing else existing from a serial production being competitive against this super made in Germany tweeter MT 40 WS.
The result is uniquely dazzling reproduction of the whole high frequency spectrum with excellent performance in both on-axis and off-axis locations, consistently delivering a very linear reproduction of the entire frequency range.
The MV Nano system uses a specially designed midrange cone with an unique ceramic coating and an edge wound 1.5" (37mm) voice coil. An ultra compact high performance neodymium magnet system, shielded by a metal housing, works as the system's driver. Embedded in high-strength injection molded light metal baskets this speaker provides a very precise and powerful sound reproduction reducing the cones' distortions to a minimum.
The nano-ceramic coating as applied on the woofers and tweeters is based on a patented nano-particle technique. The coating, with ultra-minute (10-9) ceramic particles forms a surface structure similar to glass. This produces extreme torsional rigidity of the cones and domes, resulting in significantly improved distribution of the upper harmonics and effective reduction of any partial oscillations. Used for the very first time in loudspeaker manufacturing, this nano-particle technology achieves richer and more precise sound reproduction than any other material available.
The GermanMAESTRO "MX" Performance crossovers designed in CTC-Technology (Concerted Termal Compensation) - also feature bi-wire and bi-amp connectivity - provide nearly every level of adjustment for any system configuration. This crossover utilizes the case with removable and replaceable mounting brackets that allow greater installation flexibility than any other cross-over system on the market today.
In addition and as a Special Version the GermanMAESTRO engineers created the set MS 6508 Nano Active, which is purposely not equipped with crossovers.
Detailed additional technical information provided about the tweeters and the mid/woofers allow consumers to drive the speaker system actively by using separate amplifiers and active crossovers. |
